Karachi (HRNW): Street crime continued to pose a serious challenge for residents of Karachi during June 2026, with thousands of incidents reported across the city, according to the latest statistics released by the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC).
The report revealed that 2,419 motorcycles were stolen during the month, averaging more than 80 thefts every day. In addition, 374 motorcycles were snatched at gunpoint, highlighting the persistent threat of armed street crime.
According to the CPLC, 101 vehicles were stolen, while 8 vehicles were snatched during the same period.
