Geneva (HRNW) — The United Nations Human Rights Office has demanded a transparent and independent investigation into a deadly airstrike that hit a girls’ school in Minab, Iran, killing several students and teachers.
Spokesperson Ravina Shamdasani condemned the attack as a violation of international humanitarian law and urged all parties to protect civilians, particularly children. The UN also called on Tehran to allow full access for investigators to determine responsibility.
