Karachi (HRNW) — Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh Assembly member Imdad Pitafi said during his speech in the Sindh Assembly that Sindh would not be allowed to be divided.
Pitafi said, “We will die with dignity, but we will not allow this land to be divided.”
Criticizing the federal government, he questioned, “Cricket was destroyed—was that also in Sindh’s hands? When hockey declined, did Sindh destroy the sport?”
The PPP lawmaker also said, “This is not a TV channel where you can broadcast whatever news you want.”
Taking aim at the federal government’s performance, Pitafi remarked that claims were being made about rivers of milk and honey flowing at the federal level, while “Sambhala cannot even run a single hospital.”
He also questioned the state of Pakistan Railways, asking who controls the railway system and what condition it is currently in.
Pitafi claimed that the entire Sindh stands with the Pakistan Peoples Party.
