Free Coaching Center and Educational Scholarships Announced for P&T Colony Children; Najib Wali Assures Full Support

KARACHI (HRNW)- Najib Wali, Vice President of the Clifton Cantonment Board (CCB), has announced a series of major educational and welfare initiatives for the residents of P&T Colony, Gizri. The announcement came during an “Eid Milan Dinner” hosted at his residence in honor of a 35-member delegation from the P&T Colony Welfare Association and the PCRC.

Educational and Welfare Initiatives:

During the event, Najib Wali assured the delegation that a free coaching center would be established for the children of the colony to ensure quality education for all. Furthermore, he committed to providing free textbooks and covering the educational fees of deserving students to remove financial barriers to learning.

Infrastructure and Development Progress:

Delegation members, including Inayatullah Babar, Athar Javed Sufi, Syed Azhar Ali, and Muhammad Ibrahim, expressed their gratitude to the Vice President. They noted that following his directives, CCB technical staff are working around the clock on sanitation, anti-dengue spraying, sewerage line replacements, and the repair of streetlights within the colony.

Future Development Goals:

Najib Wali shared a comprehensive vision for the area, which includes:

  • Green Initiatives: Transforming P&T Colony into a “Green Zone” by renovating and beautifying both existing parks.

  • Sanitation Drives: Launching a massive cleanliness campaign from the main gate to New P&T Colony to ensure a trash-free environment.

  • Security & Safety: Standing shoulder-to-shoulder with residents to eradicate street crimes from the vicinity.

  • Lease Issues: Holding meetings with the Mayor of Karachi to expedite progress on the long-standing land lease matters of the colony.

At the conclusion of the dinner, Athar Javed Sufi and Mumtaz Shah presented Najib Wali with a traditional Ajrak as a token of appreciation. The event concluded with a collective prayer led by Qari Shahid. Dr. Zain and Secretary Muhammad Ibrahim thanked the Vice President on behalf of the delegation for his hospitality and dedication to public service.
