Monrovia, Liberia (HRNW): World Vision International has announced the expansion of programmes focused on child protection, food security, education, and climate resilience as communities across Africa, Asia, and Latin America continue facing the combined impacts of conflict, economic instability, and climate change.
The humanitarian organization is implementing integrated community development programmes that improve access to clean drinking water, healthcare, nutrition, education, and livelihood opportunities. Special attention is being given to protecting children from exploitation, child labour, trafficking, and gender-based violence.
World Vision has also expanded climate adaptation initiatives that support farmers through sustainable agriculture, water conservation, disaster preparedness, and livelihood diversification. These programmes are helping vulnerable communities strengthen resilience against droughts, floods, and other climate-related emergencies.
The organization emphasized that investment in children remains one of the most effective strategies for reducing poverty, improving public health, and promoting sustainable development.
Operating in nearly 100 countries, World Vision continues working alongside governments, faith-based organizations, and local communities to improve children’s well-being and strengthen community resilience.
