KARACHI (HRNW): In a major breakthrough, the Karachi Police successfully recovered three-year-old Nazia from Rawalpindi after she was abducted from the Gulshan-e-Maymar area for a ransom of Rs 5 million. Following the registration of a formal case at the Gulshan-e-Maymar Police Station by the child’s father, Muhammadullah, a high-level team was constituted under the supervision of SSP Asif Baloch on the special directives of DIG CIA. The operation was a joint effort between the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) Karachi, the Punjab Police, and the Citizens-Police Liaison Committee (CPLC), utilizing advanced technical surveillance to track the kidnappers’ movements across provincial borders.
Upon pinpointing the location in Rawalpindi, a coordinated raid was conducted that led to the safe recovery of the minor, although the primary suspect managed to escape during the encounter. Authorities have confirmed that the lead kidnapper has been identified and specialized teams are currently conducting raids to ensure his immediate arrest. The police have reaffirmed their commitment to public safety, stating that such heinous crimes will be met with zero tolerance and the full force of the law to protect the citizens of Karachi.
