Rawalpindi (HRNW): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has launched a nationwide crackdown against human traffickers, with its Anti-Human Trafficking Unit arresting five suspects allegedly involved in visa fraud and human trafficking.
According to FIA officials, the arrested suspects have been identified as Hafiz Sajid, Muhammad Yasin, Mustansar, Asad Taimoor and Iftikhar Hussain. They were arrested from different areas of Sargodha.
Officials said the suspects allegedly targeted unsuspecting citizens by promising to send them abroad and collected millions of rupees from them. After receiving substantial amounts of money in the name of arranging overseas travel, the suspects allegedly went into hiding.
The FIA has arrested the suspects and launched an investigation, while raids are being conducted to apprehend their alleged accomplices.
