Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW) — The International Film Festival and Forum on Human Rights (FIFDH) will take place from 6–15 March 2026 in Geneva, bringing together filmmakers, human rights defenders, UN officials, investigative journalists, and civil society leaders.
The festival, held alongside sessions of the United Nations Human Rights Council, is expected to feature powerful documentary screenings, panel discussions on war crimes, freedom of expression, migration, and climate justice. Organizers say the 2026 edition will particularly focus on accountability mechanisms and protection of journalists in conflict zones.
Hundreds of delegates, diplomats, and activists are expected to attend, making it one of Europe’s most influential human rights cultural forums.
