Karachi (HRNW) – The Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh Branch, in collaboration with GenZee, organized “The Kids Entrepreneur Market 2026”, featuring a special environmental awareness activity focused on the importance of trees, climate change, and protecting the environment.
The event was attended by the “Tree Man of Pakistan”, who engaged with children on topics including environmental conservation, the role of trees in maintaining ecological balance, and the challenges posed by climate change. An interactive question-and-answer session was also held, where children actively participated and shared their thoughts about environmental protection.
During the event, free plants were distributed among children to encourage them to contribute towards building a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable Pakistan. The activity aimed to inspire young generations to adopt environmentally responsible practices from an early age.
Special appreciation was expressed to Pakistan Red Crescent Sindh Chairman Muhammad Rehan Hashmi, who invited participation in this meaningful initiative and joined the children in distributing plants.
From a human rights perspective, access to a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment is increasingly recognized as an essential component of human well-being. Creating environmental awareness among children and youth is vital for building a resilient society capable of addressing climate challenges.
HRNW highlights positive initiatives related to environmental protection, children’s awareness, education, and human rights to promote public awareness and social responsibility.
