Beirut (HRNW)- Israeli airstrikes in the Nabatieh al-Fouqa area of southern Lebanon have completely destroyed Gandor Hospital, according to local media reports.
Reports said there were no patients or medical staff inside the hospital when the strikes occurred. Photos and videos circulating online showed extensive rubble at the site, with the hospital building almost completely destroyed.
The strikes were reportedly carried out after the Israeli military threatened action in response to an alleged Hezbollah drone attack in southern Lebanon.
The destruction of the medical facility has further heightened tensions in southern Lebanon and raised concerns over the safety of civilians and healthcare facilities in the region.
