Karachi (HRNW) – The Investigation District Keamari South Zone Police have reportedly solved the blind murder case of a 16-year-old girl and arrested the alleged main suspect.
According to sources, on March 4, the body of 16-year-old Armeish was found hanging inside a flat in the Keamari area. The victim’s father had passed away, and she was living with her mother. A case was registered on the complaint of the victim’s mother against unidentified persons.
Police stated that the Jackson investigation team, under the supervision of Inspector Zubair Nawaz, SIO, traced the suspect through modern technical evidence, scientific investigation methods, and continuous efforts.
The arrested suspect has been identified as Faizan, son of Muhammad Ishaq, who police said was the victim’s former fiancé and close relative.
During the initial investigation, police stated that the suspect allegedly had a grudge after the victim ended their engagement and became engaged elsewhere. According to police, on the day of the incident, the victim’s mother was away at work, and the suspect allegedly entered the flat.
Police further stated that the suspect attempted to avoid suspicion by participating in the investigation himself; however, technical evidence allegedly helped reveal his involvement.
Further legal proceedings and investigation are ongoing.
