Maryam Nawaz Addresses Mirpur Rally, Claims PML-N Will Bring Development to Azad Kashmir

Mirpur (HRNW) – Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif addressed a political rally in Mirpur, stating that criticism is easy, but her opponents failed to initiate any significant development projects in Azad Kashmir despite having governments there.

Maryam Nawaz said that she is “a Kashmiri by heart and soul” and claimed that some opponents are uncomfortable when she describes herself as the “daughter of Kashmir.”

She expressed confidence that public enthusiasm indicates that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) will succeed in Azad Kashmir and said the party hopes to achieve a strong victory in the upcoming elections.

The Punjab Chief Minister stated that the public response has caused concern among opponents, adding that PML-N does not believe only in slogans but focuses on practical measures for public service and development.

She said that if given the opportunity by the people, her party would work to transform the future of Azad Kashmir and accelerate development in the region. She urged voters to support the “lion” symbol for faster progress.

Maryam Nawaz further announced that the Punjab government would provide 10 electric buses for the people of Mirpur and said that a “Suthra Kashmir” (Clean Kashmir) programme would be introduced on the model of Punjab’s cleanliness initiative.

The remarks were made during her political gathering in Mirpur.
