UNICEF Raises Alarm Over Rising Child Malnutrition in South Asia

New Delhi, India (HRNW)- On 6 April 2026, UNICEF issued a warning regarding increasing levels of child malnutrition across South Asia.

According to the report, millions of children are suffering from inadequate nutrition, severely impacting their physical growth and cognitive development. UNICEF urged governments to scale up nutrition programs, strengthen healthcare systems, and take urgent measures to safeguard children’s rights and future.
