Karachi (HRNW) — The Anti-Corruption East Zone conducted a surprise visit to the Sindh Master Plan Office and took important official records into custody for examination.
According to Anti-Corruption officials, the operation was carried out on the directions of Deputy Director Anti-Corruption East Muhammad Younis Rind and was led by Assistant Director Anti-Corruption East Asad Khokhar.
Officials said complaints have emerged regarding alleged illegal “China cutting,” unauthorized approval of maps, and manipulation of land records within matters related to the Sindh Master Plan.
The Anti-Corruption team took relevant records into custody during the surprise visit and has begun reviewing the documents to determine whether any irregularities, corruption, or financial misconduct occurred.
Officials said the purpose of the surprise inspection was to identify individuals allegedly involved in corruption, bribery, and other unlawful activities.
They further stated that strict legal action would be taken against officers or officials found responsible following the investigation.
Further developments are expected after completion of the record examination and investigation.
