Lahore (HRNW) – The entire staff of Ghaziabad Police Station in Lahore has been suspended following allegations that a woman was sexually assaulted inside the police station.
According to police, an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) has been accused of allegedly sexually assaulting a woman within the police station premises. In response, the department suspended the entire police station staff as an immediate administrative measure.
Police officials stated that a comprehensive and impartial investigation is underway, and all aspects of the incident are being examined. Appropriate legal and departmental action will be taken against those found responsible in accordance with the law.
Authorities added that further legal proceedings will depend on the findings of the ongoing investigation and the evidence collected.
