Body of 15-Year-Old Madrassa Student Found in Faisalabad; Investigation Underway

Faisalabad (HRNW) – The body of a 15-year-old boy was recovered from a drain in the jurisdiction of Batala Colony Police Station in Faisalabad, police officials said.

According to police, the deceased, identified as Shoaib, had left home the previous day to attend his madrassa for Quran memorization (Hifz) but did not return. Following his disappearance, his family lodged a missing person report with the local police.

On the following day, Shoaib’s body was discovered in a nearby drain. Police took the body into custody and shifted it for a post-mortem examination and completion of the necessary legal formalities.

Investigators said they are examining all possible aspects of the case to determine the cause of death and establish the circumstances surrounding the incident.

Authorities have not yet disclosed whether any evidence of foul play has been found, and the investigation remains ongoing.
