UN Raises Alarm Over Afghanistan’s Deepening Child Malnutrition Crisis

Kabul, Afghanistan (HRNW) – The World Food Programme (WFP) is warning that Afghanistan’s child malnutrition crisis is worsening as reductions in humanitarian assistance leave vulnerable families with fewer resources. The UN agency says children are among those facing the greatest risk as food insecurity, poverty and limited access to essential services continue to place pressure on families.
