Karachi (HRNW) — A dinner was hosted yesterday at a hotel in North Nazimabad by friends and supporters of Imran Aziz, where his formal nomination as a candidate for the post of General Secretary in the Karachi Bar Election 2027 was announced.
A large number of lawyers attended the gathering and welcomed Imran Aziz’s nomination with enthusiastic slogans and expressions of support.
Imran Aziz Thanks Lawyers
Addressing the gathering, Imran Aziz thanked members of the lawyers’ community for nominating him for the position of General Secretary and for expressing their confidence in his abilities.
He said he would make every effort to live up to the trust placed in him by his fellow lawyers and to work for the interests and welfare of the legal community.
In an emotional speech, Imran Aziz said that positions and titles were secondary for him. He stated that whether he held an office or not, he remained available to his fellow lawyers 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
He further said that he had demonstrated the same commitment while serving as MMC and Joint Secretary, by remaining accessible to lawyers and working to address their concerns.
Senior Lawyers Express Support
During the nomination event, several senior lawyers also expressed their views about Imran Aziz. The speakers highlighted his association with the lawyers’ community and his claimed availability to fellow lawyers in times of difficulty.
The senior lawyers urged members of the legal community to support candidates whom they believe remain connected with lawyers and are prepared to stand with them on professional and welfare-related issues.
The gathering concluded with enthusiastic slogans welcoming Imran Aziz’s nomination as the General Secretary candidate for the Karachi Bar Election 2027.
