Karachi (HRNW) — Crude oil prices have risen in international markets amid growing tensions between the United States and Iran.
According to reports, Brent crude reached $95.52 per barrel, while US crude (WTI) rose to $91.02 per barrel.
The increase is being attributed largely to heightened geopolitical tensions and concerns that a broader conflict in the region could disrupt global oil supplies. Any major escalation in the Middle East could place further pressure on energy markets and international oil prices.
Human Rights Perspective
The impact of international conflicts and geopolitical tensions extends beyond governments and financial markets, often affecting ordinary people. Rising oil prices can increase the cost of fuel, electricity, transportation and essential goods, placing a greater burden on low-income and vulnerable communities.
