Riyadh (HRNW)- Saudi Arabia has introduced a new digital facility called the “Package Visa” to promote tourism and make travel more convenient for foreign visitors by linking tourist visa applications directly with travel package bookings. Initially, the service will be available in selected countries through approved travel agencies before being expanded further. The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia’s broader strategy to make travel easier following the successful introduction of tourist e-visas, visa-on-arrival, and stopover visas. According to Saudi Tourism Minister Ahmed Al-Khatib, the Kingdom welcomed more than 29 million foreign tourists in 2025, reflecting the rapid growth of its tourism sector. The new system allows eligible travelers to book flights, accommodation, visas, events, and tourism activities through a single integrated process, while certified travel agencies offering 24/7 customer support will provide approved travel packages to ensure a smooth and reliable travel experience.
