Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW)- On 24–25 June 2026, the World Health Organization reiterated that resilient healthcare systems, early disease detection, and international cooperation remain essential for preventing future public health emergencies.
WHO encouraged Member States to invest in primary healthcare, improve surveillance systems, and ensure equitable access to medicines, vaccines, and health technologies for vulnerable populations.
