Karachi (HRNW) — On the directives of Karachi Mayor Barrister Murtaza Wahab, City Wardens conducted a late-night operation against individuals allegedly involved in damaging public infrastructure and municipal property across the city.
According to the available information, a large number of people were taken into custody during the operation and subsequently shifted to rehabilitation centres.
The Karachi Mayor said those damaging the city’s public property, infrastructure and overall appearance would be dealt with in accordance with the law, adding that such operations would continue.
He also directed the relevant authorities to maintain effective monitoring and take appropriate measures to protect important public facilities and municipal infrastructure.
