Karachi (HRNW) — A representative delegation of the Young Leaders Parliament Sindh paid a special visit to the Pakistan Naval Headquarters in Sindh, where the delegation attended an informative and special session with Commander Karachi, Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal Abbasi.
The delegation comprised members of the Young Leaders Parliament from various districts of Sindh and was led by President and Youth Governor Sindh Owais Khursheed Qaim Khani and Acting Youth Chief Minister Sindh Kashif Saleem Memon.
Briefing on National Defence and Maritime Security
During the special session, the delegation was briefed on the Pakistan Navy’s role in national defence, maritime security, professional responsibilities, welfare initiatives and the protection of national interests.
The young representatives had the opportunity to learn about the responsibilities and functions of the Pakistan Navy and gain a closer understanding of the role of national institutions.
The visit was described as a valuable and memorable opportunity for the young leaders to observe the discipline, professional responsibilities and spirit of national service associated with the Pakistan Navy.
Honorary Shields Presented
On the occasion, Commander Karachi Vice Admiral Muhammad Faisal Abbasi presented honorary shields to members of the Young Leaders Parliament Sindh delegation.
The Young Leaders Parliament Sindh expressed its gratitude to the Pakistan Navy for providing young leaders with an opportunity to learn, observe and gain a closer understanding of the role of national institutions.
