UN Report Accuses RSF of War Crimes in Darfur Offensive

El Fasher, Sudan (HRNW) – The United Nations human rights office, Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, has reported that the Rapid Support Forces committed serious violations amounting to war crimes during its offensive in Darfur. The findings highlight deliberate attacks on civilians, destruction of homes, and obstruction of humanitarian access.

The report raises urgent concerns about accountability, calling for international mechanisms to investigate crimes and prevent further atrocities in Sudan. Rights advocates stress that continued impunity risks deepening the humanitarian catastrophe already affecting millions.
