Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW)- On 19–20 June 2026, the World Health Organization (WHO) reiterated that universal access to essential healthcare remains a cornerstone of global health security and sustainable development.
WHO officials urged countries to invest in resilient healthcare systems, expand primary healthcare services, and ensure equitable access to medicines and medical technologies, particularly for vulnerable and underserved populations.
