Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW)- On 9 June 2026, during the ongoing International Labour Conference, the International Labour Organization (ILO) emphasized that technological innovation and artificial intelligence must be accompanied by strong labor protections and social justice measures.
ILO officials stated that the benefits of technological progress should be shared fairly among workers while ensuring decent employment opportunities and social protection.
