Peshawar (HRNW) — An alleged home invasion and sexual assault incident has been reported in Garhi Moosa Khan, Peshawar, where armed men allegedly entered a house, held the husband and children hostage, and subjected two women to alleged gang sexual assault.
According to police, the suspects also allegedly took mobile phones and other valuables from the house.
The affected family reportedly had no mobile phone available and therefore walked to the police station to report the incident. Police subsequently took action and arrested four alleged main suspects in connection with the case.
Police said that the suspects were later being taken to the crime scene for identification and investigation when unidentified armed men opened fire on them. As a result, all four suspects in custody were killed.
Police have reportedly launched an investigation into the incident, including efforts to identify the attackers and determine the circumstances and motive behind the killings.
