Addressing participants at the sit-in, Mir Reza’s father Mir Hussain said, “Our system has become such that it is protecting criminals.” He said the system against which the family was fighting was standing against them with the entire state machinery.
The family and supporters continue to demand justice, transparent investigation and accountability in the Mir Reza case, urging authorities to ensure that all aspects of the incident are investigated impartially and that those responsible are brought to justice.
