Karachi: Two Groups Clash During Protest Seeking Justice for Mir Reza, Several Injured

Karachi (HRNW) — Two groups reportedly clashed during a protest at Allah Wali Chowrangi on Tariq Road, Karachi, demanding justice in the murder case of young businessman Mir Reza. Several people were reportedly injured in the confrontation.

Meanwhile, Mir Reza’s father Mir Hussain, along with his mother and sister, attended the Jamaat-e-Islami sit-in, where Karachi Jamaat-e-Islami chief Munim Zafar and other leaders welcomed the family.

Addressing participants at the sit-in, Mir Reza’s father Mir Hussain said, “Our system has become such that it is protecting criminals.” He said the system against which the family was fighting was standing against them with the entire state machinery.
