Islamabad (HRNW): The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has carried out operations against drug trafficking in different parts of the country, arresting one suspect and recovering a total of 28.286 kilograms of narcotics worth more than Rs367 million, according to the ANF spokesperson.
The operations were conducted at Lahore Airport and near Dalbandin in District Chagai.
Lahore Airport:
ANF officials reportedly recovered 70 heroin-filled capsules weighing 286 grams from the stomach of a passenger traveling to Sharjah. The suspect was arrested.
Dalbandin, District Chagai:
During a search of a vehicle near Dalbandin, ANF officials reportedly recovered 28 kilograms of crystal heroin. The operation allegedly foiled an attempt to transport the narcotics.
According to the ANF, cases have been registered under the Control of Narcotic Substances Act, 1997, and further investigations are underway.
The ANF spokesperson said operations against drug trafficking would continue across the country.
