Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW)- On 30 May 2026, the World Health Organization (WHO) reaffirmed its commitment to supporting efforts to contain the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus emphasized that community trust and rapid health interventions will be critical in stopping the spread of the disease. Health teams continue emergency operations as the outbreak affects multiple provinces.
