Adchit Al Qusayr, Lebanon (HRNW) – The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) confirmed that a projectile explosion on Sunday, March 29, 2026, killed an Indonesian peacekeeper and seriously injured another at their position near Adchit Al Qusayr. UN Secretary-General António Guterres strongly condemned the incident, stating that attacks on “blue helmets” may constitute war crimes under international law. UNIFIL has launched an investigation into the origin of the projectile as hostilities escalate.
