Islamabad (HRNW)- Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Dr. Gordon Grlić Radman, during which both sides agreed to enhance bilateral cooperation in trade and several other sectors. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch also attended the meeting.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed the Croatian Foreign Minister and his delegation, stating that Pakistan and Croatia enjoy friendly relations based on mutual respect, goodwill and shared interests. He expressed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening cooperation in trade and investment, information technology, connectivity, agriculture, tourism and skilled manpower.
The Prime Minister also conveyed his best wishes to Croatian President Zoran Milanović and Prime Minister Andrej Plenković and extended an invitation for them to visit Pakistan officially.
Croatian Foreign Minister Dr. Gordon Grlić Radman thanked the Prime Minister for the warm welcome and said it was an honor to visit Islamabad. He appreciated Pakistan’s leadership and constructive role in promoting regional peace and reaffirmed Croatia’s commitment to expanding bilateral relations across areas of mutual interest.
