UNESCO Urges Global Action to Protect Cultural Heritage

Paris, France (HRNW)- On 6 April 2026, UNESCO expressed concern over growing threats to cultural heritage worldwide.

The agency noted that conflicts, climate change, and illicit trafficking are endangering historical sites and cultural assets. UNESCO called for strengthened international cooperation to preserve cultural identity and protect heritage for future generations.
