Torkham (HRNW)- According to local sources, shelling by the Afghan Taliban has affected civilian installations in Torkham. It has been reported that despite a flag meeting between the two sides, the shelling fell on the civilian areas of Pakistan.
According to sources, two shops in the National Market of Torkham were affected by the shelling, while a shopkeeper belonging to the Khoga Khel tribe said that goods worth about Rs 2 million were destroyed in the incident.
After the incident, panic spread in the area, while security agencies have started further action while monitoring the situation. Officials say that high-level contacts are ongoing regarding the border tension.
