Sindh Police Promotes 177 Sub-Inspectors to Grade 16

Karachi (HRNW): The Sindh Police Department has promoted 177 Sub-Inspectors to Grade 16 after completing the required procedures concerning integrity, professional reputation and eligibility.

According to the notification, a large number of the officers promoted to the rank of Inspector belong to the Karachi Range. Officers from the Hyderabad, Sukkur, Larkana and Mirpurkhas ranges have also been promoted.

The notification states that the promotions were processed after assessing the officers against the department’s prescribed standards, including professional competence and integrity.

According to the document, the cases of several officers were rejected, while the promotions of some others have been kept pending for further consideration.

The department said the promotion process was completed in accordance with the applicable rules and procedures.
