Karachi (HRNW) — August 25, 2026: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Muhammad Sohail Khan Afridi held an important meeting with Faheem Khan, President of the PTI Karachi Division, during which the country’s political situation, PTI’s political struggle and future strategy were discussed in detail.
According to the PTI Karachi Division spokesperson, KP Chief Minister’s Adviser for Finance Mazammil Aslam and Provincial Information Minister Shafiullah Jan also attended the meeting.
The participants discussed the current political situation, PTI’s political activities and the party’s strategy regarding the release of PTI founder Imran Khan.
The meeting also covered the protection of constitutional and democratic rights and PTI’s position on the prevailing political circumstances. The participants agreed to further strengthen political contacts between Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Sohail Afridi Invited to Visit Karachi
According to the spokesperson, Faheem Khan, following consultation with PTI Sindh President Haleem Adil Sheikh, invited the KP chief minister to visit Sindh, particularly Karachi.
Sohail Afridi accepted the invitation and indicated that he would visit Karachi soon.
The chief minister said, “Insha’Allah, I will come to Karachi soon.”
According to PTI, important political and organizational meetings are expected during his visit. The final date of the Sindh visit will be decided through mutual consultation and announced later.
The meeting also discussed strengthening communication between political workers in Sindh and KP, as well as PTI’s political activities and future strategy in Sindh.
