Karachi (HRNW): Steel Town Police have recovered a Cultus car reportedly snatched within the jurisdiction of Steel Town Police Station last night. The suspects allegedly abandoned the vehicle and escaped after police attempted to stop them.
According to police, a case was registered immediately after receiving information about the vehicle snatching. The SHO Steel Town, along with the head moharrir and a police team, launched a search for the stolen vehicle.
During snap-checking in different areas, police spotted a suspicious Cultus car and attempted to stop it. The suspects allegedly abandoned the vehicle and fled from the scene.
Police took the vehicle into custody and confirmed that it was the stolen Cultus car reported in the case.
According to police, the case has been registered under FIR No. 952/2026 under Sections 381/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
Police said raids are being conducted at various locations to arrest the suspects who fled the scene.
