WHO Calls for Stronger Global Health Preparedness and Cooperation

Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW)- On 10–11 June 2026, the World Health Organization (WHO) urged countries to strengthen public health preparedness and international cooperation to address future health emergencies.

WHO officials stressed the importance of resilient healthcare systems, disease surveillance, rapid response mechanisms, and equitable access to medical resources to protect populations from emerging global health threats.
