UNESCO Announces 14 New Biosphere Reserves on World Environment Day

Paris, France (HRNW)- On 6 June 2026, UNESCO announced the designation of 14 new Biosphere Reserves across different regions of the world as part of its efforts to promote biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.

The organization stated that the new reserves will help protect ecosystems, support local communities, and advance environmental education and scientific research.
