New York, United States (HRNW)- On 30–31 May 2026, United Nations climate agencies warned that the world is highly likely to experience new record-breaking temperatures before the end of the decade.
According to the latest assessments, climate change and rising greenhouse gas emissions are increasing the likelihood of extreme heatwaves, droughts, floods, and other weather-related disasters. UN officials called for urgent action to reduce emissions and accelerate the transition to clean energy.
