Beirut (HRNW)- Hezbollah Secretary General Sheikh Naim Qassem has claimed that US and Israeli military operations against Iran failed to achieve their objectives, attributing the outcome to the unity and resistance of the Iranian people.
According to Press TV, Qassem made the remarks during an address marking Unity Week, praising what he described as the steadfastness of Iranian society. He said resistance and solidarity among different segments of the population had played an important role in preventing the success of US and Israeli military operations.
Qassem referred to military operations involving the United States and Israel against Iran and argued that continued public unity and resistance could prevent adversaries from achieving their objectives.
He said that people who remain committed to defending their rights, sovereignty and homeland can withstand military pressure despite difficulties and casualties.
The Hezbollah leader’s remarks come amid continuing regional tensions involving Iran, Israel and the United States, with Hezbollah maintaining its support for Tehran and criticizing US and Israeli military actions.
