Tel Aviv (HRNW)- Israel has warned Iran that it could launch new attacks if Tehran attempts to revive its nuclear or ballistic missile programs, even if a future agreement is reached between Iran and the United States.
According to Al Jazeera, Israeli Energy Minister Eli Cohen said in an interview with the Israeli website YNet that Israel would not tolerate any effort by Iran to restart these programs. He claimed that Israeli intelligence assessments suggest joint US-Israeli attacks have delayed Iran’s nuclear program by two to four years.
Cohen further said Israel had demonstrated its military capabilities and would take action again if Iran sought to rebuild its nuclear or missile capabilities. His remarks come amid continued regional tensions surrounding Iran’s nuclear program and the possibility of a future agreement with Washington.
