Karachi (HRNW): Police have arrested a father and a neighborhood resident in Karachi’s Lyari area after a woman accused them of sexually abusing her three young daughters.

According to police, a case has been registered on the complaint of the children’s mother under the relevant provisions of Pakistan’s criminal law, including Sections 354 and 376(ii). The girls are reportedly approximately 2, 5, and 7 years old.

The complainant alleged that her husband, identified as Waqar, subjected the children to inappropriate sexual acts. Following the complaint, the girls were taken to the Police Surgeon’s Office at Civil Hospital Karachi for medical examination and the collection of forensic samples.
