UNICEF Warns Climate Change Is Increasing Risks for Children

Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW)- On 17 June 2026, UNICEF highlighted findings from its latest Children’s Climate Risk Report, warning that millions of children are increasingly vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.

The agency stressed that rising temperatures, floods, droughts, and environmental degradation are threatening children’s health, education, nutrition, and overall well-being. UNICEF called for greater investment in climate adaptation measures that prioritize children.
