Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW)- On 19 June 2026, the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) called on governments worldwide to safeguard civil liberties, ensure fair justice systems, and uphold fundamental human rights.
The Office stressed that respect for the rule of law, freedom of expression, and human dignity remains essential for achieving sustainable peace, democracy, and development.
