Accra, Ghana (HRNW)- On 19 June 2026, an international conference on reparatory justice was held in Accra following the adoption of a landmark United Nations resolution addressing the legacy of slavery and colonialism.
Representatives from more than 80 countries discussed measures to address historical injustices, promote cultural restitution, and strengthen international cooperation in advancing justice and human rights.
