Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW)- On 26 June 2026, the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) welcomed the emerging understanding between Iran and the United States aimed at reducing regional tensions.
IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi said the Agency stands ready to provide technical expertise and independent verification of Iran’s nuclear programme if requested. He emphasized that diplomacy, transparency, and international monitoring remain essential for building confidence and ensuring long-term regional stability.
