Bangkok, Thailand (HRNW)- On 7 June 2026, UNESCO launched activities leading up to World Ocean Day 2026, bringing together young people, educators, and environmental advocates to promote ocean conservation and sustainable marine practices.
The organization stressed that healthy oceans are essential for climate stability, biodiversity, food security, and the livelihoods of billions of people. UNESCO highlighted the important role of youth in driving environmental awareness and action.
