Taliban Regime’s Support for Terrorist Groups Poses Regional Security Threat, Australia Journal Reports

Islamabad (HRNW)- The Taliban regime’s support for terrorist groups has emerged as a serious security challenge for Afghanistan and the entire region.

An international journal has revealed the sinister nexus between the Afghan Taliban and Fitna al-Khawarij (TTP). According to the Australian journal The Conversation, the Taliban have incorporated these armed groups into their government forces after taking control of Afghanistan.

The journal also claims that India is allegedly supporting the Taliban for regional and geopolitical interests, while the Afghan Taliban provide a safe haven to Fitna al-Khawarij, allowing them to attack Pakistan from Afghan soil. Experts say the Taliban, under the patronage of external actors, are facilitating terrorism to maintain their illegitimate rule. Pakistan has repeatedly presented evidence of terrorism originating from Afghanistan, which has been recognized globally.
