Washington (HRNW)- US President Donald Trump’s policies against Iran and potential war measures have seen a significant decline in public support, while his overall popularity has dropped to 33%, according to a recent survey by the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
The survey found that only 33% of Americans approved of Trump’s performance, while 62% expressed dissatisfaction with his policies. Specifically, only 29% supported actions against Iran, whereas 63% opposed this policy.
Public dissatisfaction extends beyond foreign policy, with 71% criticizing the government on inflation, and significant disapproval expressed regarding employment, immigration, and tariff policies. Additionally, 17% of 2024 Trump voters now question their choice, signaling a notable shift in American politics where foreign and economic issues are increasingly decisive.
